Jesse Glenz records first career IMCA victory at Princeton

Jesse jumped into a Ricky Lemmen-owned #99 IMCA Modified over the past weekend and competed in four events in Minnesota, which started on Thursday night at the Princeton Speedway, where Jesse raced to a clean sweep. Jesse won both his heat and the feature from the pole, racing to his first ever IMCA-sanctioned victory.

Friday, the team moved to the North Central Speedway in Brainerd, MN for the first night of two at North Central, but Jesse’s luck wasn’t as good as the night before. He raced from 8th to 4th in the heat and then from 4th to 3rd in the b, but he missed a transfer spot and ending his night early.

Saturday was night #2 at North Central and Jesse again missed the night’s main event. He ran 7th in both his heat and the night’s b-main.

Sunday, the final event of the weekend was held at the Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, MN and after a 9th to 5th run in his heat race, then a third-place finish in the b-main, Jesse moved forward considerably in the night’s feature. he was able to race home with a 10th place finish after starting 22nd.
