Glenz passes 11 cars in Late Model feature at Wilmot

Jesse had a busy weekend, competing in a pair of USMTS Modified events in Kansas and Oklahoma on Friday and Saturday and then competing in a Late Model race in Wisconsin on Sunday to cap off a three-race weekend.

Friday, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS, he ran fourth in his heat race before running fifth in the b-main and locking himself into the $10,000 to win main event. In the feature, he rolled off 22nd and was able to earn hard charger honors by working his way through the field up to a 9th place finish.

Saturday, at the Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK, he ran second in his heat race, won his b-main and then ended up 23rd in the official run down during the main event. The team then made an all night drive back to Wisconsin and he competed in his first Dirt Kings Tour event on Sunday at the Wilmot Speedway in Wilmot, WI. After a 7th place run in his heat race, he advanced from 8th to 3rd in the b-main and then was able to work his way forward in the feature, coming from his 19th starting spot to cross the finish line in 8th.
