Jesse Glenz Declares for USMTS National Championship Run

Fall Creek, Wisconsin based Jesse Glenz Racing would like to officially announce that the team plans on making a full run at the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) National Championship during the upcoming 2021 season.

Jesse, who raced to victory lane eight times during the 2020 season, including six times in his #7x WISSOTA Late Model and twice in the #89x Modified is primed for a run to visit Casey’s General Store USMTS victory lane for the first time this year.

Jesse said ‘with the series schedule being a lot more manageable to be able to work still, race my Late Model on off weekends in our home area and to race for great payouts, it was a no brainer to take advantage of this opportunity working with Dale. Plus, we already had cars ready to try and contend for the USMTS championship.’

He went on to say ‘it means the world to me for Dale to let me do this and for other new sponsors to come on board to help me pursue my dreams of racing and traveling on a bigger stage for the first time in my career. To venture out and try to compete for wins at major paying shows on a national level and to try to gain exposure and keep taking the next step in the racing ladder.’

On weekends that the USMTS is off, Jesse plans to compete in 20 or so WISSOTA Late Model events at his home tracks as well so local fans and sponsors will still be able to catch him in action across the Midwest as often as his schedule allows.

Not only does every USMTS event pay either $5,000 or $10,000 to win, but the year ending point fun pays $70,000 to the champion and pays very well down the line with a total of $230,000 earmarked for the top ten finishers at season’s end.

The 2021 schedule is comprised of 36 events across Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Louisiana and Iowa, including three nights at Jesse’s home track – the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
